This was soooo good! I love the relationship between Diana and Matthew!

The show was just as good in my opinion! I'm so going to be reading the Second book next month!

I know that I have read this book before, many years ago, but I didn’t remember as much of it as I thought I would. Reading this novel was a nice change for me. I like Diana and Matthew and all the rest of the creatures. The story has an interesting path and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy.

despite taking me so long to get through and so complex with academia its so engaging to start the series with this ending to the first book

Forever a favorite. I hear feedback that it’s slow to read, but I don’t personally agree. The story is so impressively plotted with callbacks and recurring themes that are expertly integrated. Plus it ticks all of my boxes. Academia. The supernatural. Magic. Romance. This story will never get old to me.
