I don’t mind it, it’s a bit hard to get into but I’m just not feeling it at the moment… so I’m at 50% but will be coming back to read this.

So ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the moment…

This book has had heaps of grovelling that was so needed to be done by the MMC’s and well deserved for the MFC. And she is strong willed and didn’t give in atraight away which I loved. It had heaps of action and had a good plot twist cliffhanger (although I did guess it). Can’t wait to read the 3rd book!

Read on Kindle.

The first book covered her abuse by her "boys" now they have sexy times and magically get forgiven. Absolutely not. The plot has taken a U turn.

This book took me a little longer to read than I had expected. Not because I was having issues getting in to it, but rather I felt there was a lot to unpack in this book.

After the showdown at Engel’s house, Riva and the guys make their way to where they think the can start finding answers, as that didn’t quite pan out as they hoped at Engel’s.

They find help, but they find trouble twice as much. It’s a rollercoaster of events.

One of the things I didn’t like was the tension and issues between Riva and the guys. Yes, I know some groveling is good, and an immediate back-to-good-graces wouldn’t have felt right, but I was ready for them to move past the hate and pain already.

3.75 loved them men in book the grovel. Jacob I think is my favourite. Them learning more about the shadows blood line is really interesting. I wish it was explored and explain more. As that is more interesting then the the guardians. The ending was predictable but still good.

Well shit, saw that twist coming from a mile away. This book was a bit more filler than anything but still had some much needed growth between the characters.

Okay so Dom is the best thus far... just saying sof boy rules.

The series is definitely keeping the same vibe so it's not bad. Plot feels a bit more focused than the previous even if it is using some known mechanics. The surprise ending is not a surprise, but I'm interested to see how it is used going forward.

Riva, girl, gotta get to therapy babe. In patient. Separated from these men.
