I forgot all about these books. I used to love reading these!

I remember my mom reading these to me growing up! I think she might have enjoyed them more than I did.

Hilarious and cute

I just had to show my professor how to use this book in a literary circle for children. It was so much fun to go back and read the Amelia books again. I have several books and always look for them on ebay for multiple copies for my classroom. It is silly and reminds me of my own childhood!

Bought this book for my nieces and of course I had to read it! It’s been so long since I’ve read an Amelia Bedelia book but of course my nieces love it, probably as much as I did when I was close to their age.

Oh Amelia Bedelia! You helped make my childhood so much fun! I love how she "draws the drapes" in this one!

I read this to my niece. We laughed together at the funny way Amelia Bedelia interrupts life. After all these years it's still a good story.

This was a fun walk down memory lane. I remember loving Amelia Bedelia books as a kid. Many storybooks don’t hold up to the nostalgia of my childhood memories but once in a while I find a gem. I chuckled at Amelia’s antics and would have to describe her as chaotic good. She’s trying even if she makes quite a mess in the process. As an adult there’s the added questions of how did Mrs. Rodgers come to hire Amelia Bedelia? I’m honestly curious who is giving this woman a job? It’s definitely a fun series that I will continue to share with future generations.

Reread via audiobook and god do I love these books!

Amelia Bedelia by Peggy Parish – It’s a punny, legalistic disaster, but the imagination is worth the giggles. Happy Reading!
