I adore Amelia and her adventures (or mishaps, lol)!! One of my favorite kids' series. :D Hilarious.
I love Amelia Bedelia. I just found this edition and purchased it for my granddaughter. She isn't quite ready for Amelia yet, but when she is ready, I'll be ready too. Rereading it still made me giggle. I love the word play, the character, and the humor. She's always fun. If you practically have this one memorized, try the Christmas one - it always makes me giggle too.
I remember reading this in elementary school when we visited the library. This really brings me back. It’s silly but really it’s like it’s making fun of the English language and the odd phrases we use. I love this series.

The writing isn’t as smooth as I remember, but it was a nostalgic read. It’s a classic for a reason! If I were a kid this would be five stars.
Great story! I loved it. Unfortunately my son wasn't a fan and says he doesn't want to read any more Amelia Bedelia books. One of his biggest complaints was that it was hard for him to read because "the grammar is bad." Really it's that the author uses outdated language and so he found it hard to read himself. I think it will be better if I read the story to him!
I always loved Amelia Bedelia, but I haven't used it in class yet. Any ideas?
