I already love dark romance, why choose, and enemies to lovers; but it’s typically in paranormal or romantasy. I was skeptical of seeing these elements work in a mafia romance, but damn K. A. Knight blew it out of the water. The elements go together so well and though they may not have any paranormal or supernatural results, each Viper had their own unique set of skills. I also loved the way each Viper had their own dynamic relationship with Roxy but they also had their moments as a group.

Loved this book! This was my first book by K.A. Knight but it will not be my last! I loved the characters and all of their layers. The story was good and there was a TON of spice!

I honestly don’t remember when I started it, before this book I hadn’t read in a long time. This is the first smut book I’ve ever read before this I would read true crime books. My bestie showed me this and now we are our own book club!

I’ve always had a healthy liking of kinks and fantasies but this…… wow!! ♥️
Just wish it wasn’t a stand alone!

This was crazy and I repeat CRAZY to read. This is not my typical read and to say I was SHOOK while reading would be an understatement. This is beyond SMUT with a tiny bit of plot. It was good and ultimately I enjoyed the book but WOW not for the faint of heart. The characters are interesting but Diesel scared the shit out of me. Not even gonna lie, it is a mafia reverse harem with lots of violence both consensual and non-consensual. The sex scenes as well as the violence are VERY GRAPHIC. This book at times made me feel like I needed to go to church and therapy, do with that information what you will!

It’s like watching a car crash. You know you should look away but you can’t. So, I went into this with low expectations of the plot and high expectations of it being a wild ride and I wasn’t disappointed. This book contains EVERY. Trigger warning. If you can think of it it’s probably contained within.

Diesel - loveable psycho - has the most graphic sex scenes
Ryder - loveable control freak
Garrett - loveably damaged
Kenzo - a bit like a starry eyed puppy

Does this scream Stockholm syndrome? Yes. Is it going to win the Booker prize? No. Did I enjoy it for what it’s worth? Absolutely.

Lower your expectations, read the content warnings and strap in.

Dark but great!!!

I read a lot of reviews for this before I began reading this and they were mostly bad, but I've always loved things others found strange or terrible. I'm glad I listened to myself because I loved it. No it's not for everyone for sure, but if you're adventurous and open-minded, give it a go.
