I’ve read this book too many times to count, but somehow it always gets better. Maybe because I’m in high school and can relate to it, but Lara Jean and Margot remind me so much of my sister and I- we have always been so close but so different, and, being the older sister and all, I see myself in Margot.
Enough about me though... Lara Jean and Peter’s relationship is funny, the plot is well-thought-out, and the series is such a cheesy, great romance.
10/5 stars.

I enjoyed it, but didn't like how it felt incomplete.
Laura Jean's sister has left for college and at the same time her love letters from years past were mailed out; including the one were she professed her love to her sister x-boyfriend. One of the other letter receivers, Peter, gets pulled into her lie that they are dating. The two of them decide to play it out so they can both save face, that's when everything changes.
I did go back and forth about rating this with 2 or 3 stars, I decided on three because it was interesting and I was engrossed in the story. If i read this when i was in highschool, I could see this being the most relatable book ever. I am almost 30 and thought it was cute, but I needed more.
I am jumping right into the next book because I feel like whatever is in the second should have been included in the first... I want to see how it all plays out.

Bit clunky and the story in the movie was a lot better but enjoyable and easy read. Glad the movie cut a lot of the Josh and Lara shit. Took me out when they called hair ties “ponytail holders” who the fuck calls it that.
A very enjoyable, entertaining, romantic comedy, that is both lighthearted, and almost a coming of age novel.
