Falling is a fun, beat-the-clock thriller that kept me on my toes. The plot is propulsive and splits between three different simultaneous storylines that all culminate into the final climax. I also feel like I learned a lot about airplane operating procedures and it is clear that the author is a former flight attendance with all of the nuances included around this. There are also some fun, unexpected (and maybe some expected) twists and turns throughout and I had a great time reading this.

I had the audiobook narrated by Steven Weber who is very good infusing tension to this thriller.
Having listened to and loving Worst Case Scenario by the same author, I was pointed to this book by Dan (Avid Readers Book Club)that this one is even better so couldn’t risk missing out. I have to say as usual he is right!
Action packed from the start. I was totally invested with Captain Bill, what a position to be in. I was impressed by the cabin crew’s professionalism inventiveness and bravery.
The reader also gets some insight from the antagonists, air traffic control and the FBI all trying to manage the situation from the ground.
I have to say I was right there on that plane with the Pilot and crew. It felt so realistic.
The plot was emotive and high octane but less complex than worse case scenario.
There’s a message given from cabin crew member Jo to the passengers that moved me to tears in my eyes.
A great thriller. I highly recommend the audio.

Plays into every stereotype and cliche imaginable. I was interested in the plot, but the characters felt like strangers and I didn’t really find myself rooting for them (despite very frequent flashback sections meant to build their backstories). The premise made it a quick afternoon read, but the execution was disappointing.
And really strange Yankees insert?
Perfect popcorn blockbuster thriller story. You may know exactly how it ends, but that's not why we watch Top Gun and Con Air and Air Force One, etc. Turn your brain off and enjoy the thrills.
btw, the motivation of the hijackers is pretty unique and not entirely wrong...I don't blame them for being so mad.

What a well written edge of your seat story. Everytime I put it down, I'd find another way to pick it back up to find out what happens next. Multiple heros means multiple emotions. An amazing rollercoaster that is sure to leave you with goosebumps. When Captain Bill says no, he means no.
This book is everything the cover claims it is.
