The way the book first started almost turned me off to it. But after those first few pages, I got sucked in completely. While some of the storyline was predictable, I completely enjoyed it.

I love a book that feels like I’m watching a movie. I really loved this one. Hard to put down, quick read/listen. Lots of action and holding my breath! The only things I didn’t like were super minor/inconsequential - that Ben & Bills names were so similar I had to keep reminding myself who the pilot was and who the first officer was. & the scene with Theo taking matters into his own hands and the crash, motorcycle etc- despite the storyline/main plot- THIS part seemed far fetched and a little lengthy for me.

Otherwise I loved it! Definitely recommend.

This book is incredible, fast paced, and really difficult to put down. It’s a hell of a debut and I can’t wait to see what T.J. Newman does next.

Definitely different to my usual type of read but my partner picked this up fr a ‘holiday book swap’ and tbf i quite enjoyed it, I struggled to put it down because i just needed to know how it ended.
