I've been meaning to read this for years now, I've just never gotten around to it but I'm glad I finally did! This definitely reads like a debut novel in that the author tries to do a lot in very little space. There is a lot of action, which makes it a great popcorn thriller but there are also a lot of characters which made it hard to follow at times as we switched at breakneck speed from POV to POV, sometimes all in the same chapter. In terms of the story, it's not the most realistic and you do have to take your logical brain out of the equation to fully enjoy the ride. But I would definitely like to read some more of this author's work, as it was still entertaining and a great premise!

Perfectly fine thriller, the characters were likable and you were rooting for them. I can see this being a movie for sure. I maybe was expecting more? When this came out it was everywhere and people LOVED it and it is a good thriller but I don't know maybe too much hype.

This book was trash. Somehow — spoiler alert — the author made the terrorists Kurds??? Bullshit and offensive. The writing was hokey. Don’t read this on a plane.

Everything I could ever want in an action/thriller. Massive Airforce one vibes, tiny bit cheesey but so supremely well paced and fast going… I couldn’t put it down. There. It’s reduced me to cliché!
