Louis is my favorite character. I think we'll be heading straight into book 3!

3.5 Stars. Didn’t enjoy this quite as much as the first one. It definitely had a few cheesy moments, but the story had my attention so I can get past it. Really love Peter and Lewis’ bromance.

An enjoyable page turner that I picked up in the "bargain" section of my local supermarket without expecting too much and without realising it was the second in a series (for the record works perfectly well as a standalone book).

I enjoyed this second in the Peter Ash series by Nicholas Petrie. It's a bit reminiscent of Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, though Reacher seems a little more indomitable. There's also a little shading of the Spenser series by (now deceased) Robert B. Parker, with Ash's friendship with Lewis bearing a distinct resemblance to Spenser's friendship with Hawk. I kind of hope that June becomes a permanent part of the cast, much like Susan did with Spenser.

Solid Sophomore entry in the Peter Ash series, another book Reacher fans will enjoy while awaiting the next new Reacher book.

Peter meets June Cassidy in the trees of California and then goes to Oregon and Seattle and then east of Seattle. A crazy conspiracy involving AI named Tyg3r. Lewis returns to help Peter.
