DID NOT FINISH: 14%

I read the first two like a hot minute ago and tried to finish this one but I don’t really remember much of the plot and was a tad bit confused. Also like was the dialogue always this bad??

The dialogs in this book is is very cringy. I get it's YA genre, but man it's seems to be trying too hard with all the slang and such. I feel the characters just didn't quite match what came out of their mouth. This series started out interesting for me then i felt like the further in the series I got, the more comedic it became. Not my favorite of JLA's works. It's imaginative, but just a little too kaleidoscope of everything you know about good and evil that was told in a very matter of factly, they are all real type of way. Just not my type of fantasy story.

CONTAINS SPOILERS OF THE PREVIOUS BOOK PROCEED WITH CAUTION

What can I say? It's been almost 2 weeks and still, I don't know what more to think of how masterfully this series ended. Should I mention the action? The smoldering romance of Trinity and Zayne as also their deep connection? Or should I maybe comment on the other characters that completed this group of awesomeness and hilarious moments?

Grace and Glory pick up right after from where the previous book left us. Trinity wants to find a way to save the world from a genocide bent Archangel, even if it means summoning Lucifer (not the bar owner sorry). With Zayne on the loose as a Fallen Angel with his powers intact, Trinit will need something more than her Grace to help her defeat Gabriel.

I loved how beautifully Jennifer explored the dynamic of Zayne and Trinity in this book; she took her time to layout their emotions, fears, and love. I enjoyed Cayman's banter and funny moments and I certainly laughed out with some very...disturbing yet funny scenes making me even more needy to finally marathon Supernatural.

The surprises at the end of the book were something I did not expect though in my opinion, Jennifer did a much better job on Michael's actions and kind of redemption, in comparison at least with another father figure (yes I am looking at you Apollo).

By this point, I can not distinguish anymore which book by Jennifer Armentrout is the best. All are and I certainly will continue to recommend them. If you are as excited as I was about the release, brace yourselves for when this lovely releases!

This Harbinger series was certainly entertaining, but I wasn't obsessed with it. This book felt like it was building up to this big moment, but the ending was kind of anticlimactic.
I also feel like the author did her best to give this series a good ending, but I my opinion it made the ending unbelievable and a bit cheesy. I wouldn't have mind the main character dying, because that moment I thought she was dying actually had me shed some tears! And then... plot twist, she didn't die. I was actually disappointed by that. Sometimes a bad ending is a better ending than a good ending.

All in all, I liked listening to the graphic audio. Cayman is definitely my favorite character in the whole series, he regularly had me laughing out loud.
