It didn't hold my attention as much as the first 2 books, the series was worth a read but slightly cheesy and I feel like it didn't need to last 3 books, it was starting to feel drawn out by the 3rd book. It had an interesting plot though but I feel like alot of themes were borrowed.

It’s no secret that I love this series. Trinity is amazing! She’s strong, curious, loving, and brave. Zayne is my BOY! I’ve always loved Zayne (he’s in The Dark Elements trilogy) and I’m so happy we get to have more of him. This final installment in The Harbinger series was everything we wanted and needed to wrap up this adventure. It felt like I was watching a season of Supernatural. Lots of action and banter, loads of supernatural characters, and fun. I’m so sad to say goodbye, but it ended well.
The thing I love most about this series is the depiction of Trinity’s degenerative eye disease, Retinitis pigmentoasa (RP). JLA also has this eye disease and reading Trinity’s journey seemed a lot more real knowing the author has firsthand knowledge. I have a new appreciation for those with physical limitations and I feel like I’m just a bit more understanding.
So long, Trinity, Zayne, Layla, and Roth. I’ll be seeing you again in a few years for a reread. ☺️

A flawless and intense ending to an incredible series. The power of advocacy, strength and connection weave through every page of this series and this novel is a knock out adventure of gasps and adrenaline from page one. It’s deeply emotional with revelations that will stick with me for days to come, and quick witted in a laugh out loud way.
3.5 it was okay. I think this series was drawn out way longer than it needed to be I have mixed feelings about the ending.
Let me just say that the only thing that makes me happy about this series is the fact that I finished it. It was a slog from start to finish—not just this book, but the others as well.
This book and JLA's other books suffer from regurgitated dialogue and plot lines, "shocking" twists, and a severe lack of knowing how to write teenagers or even for a young adult audience. Hell, she can't write dialogue to save her life. It seems like the only way she can possibly relate to them is throwing in as many pop culture references as possible into literally every page in the books. A few sprinkled here and there is fine, sure. But it bleeds into everything. Trinity's narration is a constant stream of pop culture name drops, from Game of Thrones to Supernatural being mentioned 15 or so times in the last bit of this book alone. And it's grating and vastly Not Witty.
And don't get me started on the "plot twists." JLA needs a lesson in how to lay out clues for her readers to pick up on and foreshadow book events. But all we get is one illogical, out-of-left-field revelation after another.
Please. Make her books stop.

I loved this book. Even though some parts were predictable, I enjoyed it for the characters and plot. I have always loved JLA’s stories and this one is no difference. Perfect end to a perfect series.
I thought this was a nice, wholesome end to the series. Zayne and Trinity’s love is just so cute. I’d love to see more of them again in the future. I also for some reason want to watch Supernatural now. A solid read.

This was pretty underwhelming and had the weirdest twist at the very end which makes 0 sense. It's also giving "our God is and awesome God" which is not my jam.
Spoiler
PEANUT ENDING UP BEING HER FATHER IS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER READ IN MY WHOLE LIFE. Also this is very SJM where no one dies even if they actually die!! JLA is a very lazy writer. Shortening “shadow people” (a already dumb name for a demon) to SP frequently.. UHg this series sucked
