All the Sinners Bleed

S.A. Cosby

4.28 AVERAGE

I love this book! This is definitely one of the better books I have read this year. It’s a well written police procedural that starts off with a bang. I love books that jump right into the action. What the police thought was just a horrible school shooting quickly turns into the hunt for a serial killer.

This had some creepy elements to it, especially when it came to the religious parts of the murders. This book is pretty gory, so be advised. Race is also brought up quite a bit, but it adds a lot to the story.

Titus is a very tough main character. He has a great personality, and it really shows throughout the story. I loved learning his backstory and reading his interactions with characters. I quickly became attached to him and his deputies. This is such a great read. Highly recommend!

S.A. Cosby is truly a gem that must be protected at all costs! His writing is beyond anything I’ve ever read and serves as a reminder of why I love to read and just how magical books truly are. When I finished All the Sinners Bleed, I just closed my eyes, hugged the book, and cried. Physically, I was hugging the book but mentally, I was hugging all of the characters his writing made me feel so connected to in those 352 pages.

All the Sinners Bleed is a book that makes you feel like you’re in Charon County, Virginia, connecting with Titus and all of the other small-town characters we’re introduced to. It is truly an experience beyond just reading. I did have some lingering questions at the end and there are some loose ends that I would like to have seen tied up, but overall it was a great book and one that I really enjoyed.

This story starts strong and stays intense. There were some descriptions that were so vivid and horrifying that I had to put the book down. I also didn’t like to read it before bed because the images were strong. All that said, it was a good story and the main characters were great. I like a hero with a dark past, and Titus is that guy for sure.

I could see this novel being a scary, dark, action movie with lots of blood.

This is my first S.A. Cosby novel but it definitely won’t be my last. I saw an interview from the author and was in awe of how great of a story teller he is. Purchased this book that night and it did not disappoint! From beginning to end I was captivated and engulfed in the world of Charon County. I hate that it took me so long to pick up this book. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
