I fell in love with Alex Michaelides books after reading The Silent Patient and The Maidens, so I had really high expectations jumping into The Fury. The plot twists kept me guessing throughout the book, and I liked that the narrator was not the main character. I think my biggest hang up was the pacing, which just seemed a little off somehow. However, it was still a worthwhile read!

The Fury, sadly wasn't the book for me. Although from other reviews I can see that lots of people enjoyed this and maybe I wasn't the right audience for this as I couldn't get into the story or like any of the characters. Obviously I can tell a lot of people love this and this is solely my opinion so I still recommend this.

This one did not hold my attention throughout like the author’s previous books did, but I found the twists towards the end to be novel and intriguing. I think Michaelides’ books, and the small ways they connect to one another, make them worth reading again in the future. With a different perspective, having already read them, they could be just as interesting a read as the first time around, if not better.
