I have mixed feelings about this one. It was an extremely quick read, but I did not find it all that compelling. From the get-go I found Elliot to be EXTREMELY annoying. My tolerance for pseudo-intellectual artistic type men is limited (even in fiction, apparently).
It also required me to suspend a ton of disbelief throughout (like... how could elliot possibly know what kate and lana said to each other when he wasn't there, or what they were all thinking, etc.), but that didn't bother me too much.
Spoiler i was pretty sure elliot was responsible for lana's death like 70 pages in because of how unsettling he is

i'm sure he wasn't written to be likable but MAN he was annoying. and creepy!!!
anyways, i didn't love this, but i have already found myself recommending it to library patrons. quick, odd read overall. i do LOVE the cover though.

This book was full of twists and turns. I wouldn’t read it again but it was entertaining.
