I thoroughly enjoyed reading the wealth of indigenous knowledge packed into this book. Kimmerer weaves native stories and relationship to land with her botanical scientific background and treats the reader to a deeper understanding of our relationship with nature. Our world would benefit greatly from learning from her shared wisdom.

I find the indigenous wisdom and the personal examples discussed in the book interesting. However, the pacing is extremely slow, which became a problem to my listening experience. The narration just lingers on a single topic for sooooo long without adding much new to it, that I find myself not actually listening (the audio just fades into some background noice).

Cried through the whole reading. What a gift.
