DNF. Could not bring myself to finish this book. It’s a no from me dawg. The dialogue was so cringeworthy it made me laugh. No billionaire talks the way the MMC is represented in this book. Actually I don’t know anyone who talks this way billionaire or not.

I was enjoying this book
Then I don’t know..
Her parenting was.. a fucking joke
She didn’t bother with her kids in the correct way at all
Then the one time I did agree with her parenting is “final drama scene”
I understood her reasoning for not wanting Tristan to adopt her kids
Especially so Fucking soon!
But did it matter? Heaven forbid no. The woman’s opinion never matters and the man always gets his way and she became the begging bitch “have my kids just stay with me”
Nope
Ruined the whole book for me. I ended it all just angry

Another enjoyable book by T. L. Swan. I am so glad I chose to read the next in the series. The story is about Claire and Tristan, who is Jameson’s brother from book one. Tristan is sizzling hot for Claire and she’s appears more resistant to it. I found Tristan to be a bit cheesy in some early parts of the book, but there’s no denying his feelings for Claire.
The book is well paced and a perfect balance of spice and substance, it bring a real sense of reality to the storyline. It was making me laugh so much, some of the scenes were hilarious! Every time I think about the hilarious scene in chapter 9 I can’t help but chuckle! I found this book was making me laugh even more than the first in the series.
Tristan is a ‘knight in shining armour.’ I loved the book and will be reading the next in the series.
