I don’t know how to feel about this book. It was so cheesy at some parts yet wholesome overall. The female lead character was so annoying at some parts for no reason at all. The male lead character was great though and had some very remarkable moments, he was a savior in the story and in my eyes he was the savior of this book. I did not like the abrupt ending, the author did this in the first book too, so I am hoping that we get a glimpse into their lives in books 3 and 4.
I will say this however, this book was definitely better than the first in my opinion.

This book is wayyyy better than I ever imagined. It's funny af. I highlighted so many parts where I just busted out laughing. Love Tristan so much. The fact that he's not an asshole book bf (which is pretty rare these days) and he's not toxic! I don't even want to read the rest two books cuz how would I care the other Miles brothers after Tristan?

i love tristan!!!!!! he’s so fuggin sweet ??? and loves her kids sm ??? <3 x 100. this book was also what u would expect but had more fluff which we love in this case. claire was DUMB at times but whatev it’s a book. UG ALSO we GET IT they “screw their face up” the author loves that descrip it drove me insane
Last book of 2021 and I was unsure if I would love this because of the plot but omg, every time Tristan called Harrison a Wizard. My. Heart. I loved this book.

Tristan is absolutely precious. I adored him in the Stopover and knew he’d make a great leading man. He’s one of my all time favorite book boyfriends. Claire drove me nuts. There were so many times I wanted to shake her, but in the end it was fine. I love Tristans relationship with her sons though. So precious.

My heart is so invested in book series, I loved tristin and Claire’s unordinary relationship. Her history, her children… the way he makes it so very clear his love for her. Such a good and easy read. And super spicy. Their intimacy is radiating and the the ending was beautiful.

To be honest, i don't give a zero flap about Claire. But Tristian with the boys tho... That alone is worth reading this book.
