This book was so cute and I loved every second. Their banter is fucking fantastic and I wish to see more like theirs in books. There’s so much love in this book, so much. 5 fucking stars

While I did not love this as much as The Stopover, I still highly recommend this book! First, can we talk about my book boyfriend Tristan Effing Miles??? Claire Anderson is so admirable. She is a true modern woman. She is classy, a boss babe, and an amazing single mother. She is so relatable with her insecurities. If Claire can have cellulite and still be confident, then maybe there is hope for me!! She is so busy running her deceased husband’s company that she does not have time to date.... until Tristan. The banter back and fourth is hilarious. Her kids are SO FUNNY. Let’s not forget the best character, Muffy the cat!!! TIK TOK friends, it is time to read this book. 100% will be buying this as a physical copy.

die Kinder waren echt lustig, aber deren Verhalten war teilweise nicht altersgemäß (welcher 9-jähriger sitzt regelmäßig auf dem Schoß von einem Erwachsenen und welcher 13-jährige hält die Hand von einem Erwachsenen????)
jedoch glaub ich, dass es von deren daddy issues kommt, also hoffe ich mal

This was so unexpectedly funny! Especially compared to the more serious tone of Book 1. Really liked this one. 3.75.

this book was so swoony, and so sweet. i almost couldn't put it down. their relationship growth was so sweet, and seeing tristan with her kids made my heart melt. i absolutely loved them, and i want more SO BAD. (i felt the ending was kind of rushed). this book was so real, i felt so many emotions to claire's grief and guilt, to tristan's growth and patience. this was soo good.

Tristan. Miles. Need I say more. This book is not only spicy, but hilarious. The banter and internal monologues of Tristan and Claire are laugh out loud funny. The first time Tristan meets Claire's children, he gets much more than he bargained for and I could not stop giggling. I absolutely love when an author can combine good spice with good and funny banter, and T.L Swan nails it in this book. Now I can't wait to dive into her entire catalogue to binge read all her books
I love this series because the relationships are not linear. There’s no slow burn. As soon as they need they hit it off. And they’re constantly arguing and breaking up and getting back together which keeps it interesting lol but the banter is good and overall the characters have strong personalities and are funnyyy (including the kids).
I’m not a fan of the single mom trope but this one was amazing. I was upset at Claire for living in Wades shadow and sabotaging any chance at something good with Tristan, she was too comfortable in her grief.
Now Tristan Miles… amazing. Hot and funny and just a great mmc.
