Omg I loved every second of this book. This book comes highly rated, so I had high expectations and it did not disappoint. This is my very first book by T.L. Swan and I cannot wait to tackle the rest of the series and her backlist. The boys were little shits as Tristan would say but they were so funny and I LOVED seeing his relationship grown with them. This has everything I loved and more in a single parent romance. 5 fabulous stars.
3.75 stars. I really liked the main characters and the story for the most part. The author repeats stuff too much; could have been 100 pages shorter. Also, the last 15% just made me mad; the same “drama” could have been there without them acting so selfishly.

this book has stolen my heart & soul
I can’t even begin to even write words about how this book made me feel. It’s raw emotion and love throughout this book is undeniable. I loved every minute of it, I’m so pleased I have found this author because now I want to read EVERYTHING.

5 stars if you take into account the epilogue in her mile ever after book
Tristan MF'ing Miles
Wow! Tristan and Claire were something else. That banter, that energy, that chemistry, the I tried not being with you, but it just didn't work. He was unexpected and the way he cared for her boys and wanted to be there for them, advocating for them, taking them through the difficult moments, swoon. He was fluent in 5 languages and a tenured international professor of cliterature!

A bit disappointed by this one. The first book was so fun and had me laughing. I was looking forward to Tristan’s book but the ending was very strange to me. Why did he just agree to not adopt the boys because Claire was having a breakdown when it meant so much to him before? And why is he leaving Miles Media to run Anderson Media? Why not give some financial help to the company?
It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me and doesn’t really feel like that much of a happy ending for Tristan.

I enjoyed this book so much more than the first book! Tristan and Claire were more likeable characters and there was more plot to this book. I liked Claire's children and was almost in tears with the graveyard scene. There were also more funny parts due to Tristan's personality. I am glad I continued with this series and am looking forward to the next book!
I really liked this book…until about 85% in…then the heroine started annoying me and it turns out her children were smarter than she was . Other than that, Tristan Miles was a DELIGHT :)
