I knew nothing about the author, except that she is Jewish and a comedian. I enjoyed reading about her life. Unfortunately we do not share the same sort of humour, so, at times, where it was supposed to be funny, to me it was just ”oh” and vulgar.
Now I am very curious to also SEE some of her works.

Great book!! She did a great job at blending the serious with her comedy. My only disappointment was that she didn't go into her relationship with Jimmy Kimmel at all - in fact, his name was only mentioned 3 times throughout the entire book. I'm a huge Jimmy Kimmel fan, so was hoping there would be something about their relationship.
I loved this so much. It was much better than Chelsea Handler's books.
The audio book is read by, you guessed it, Sarah Silverman! Sweet, raunchy, and hilarious. :)
I have learnt a lot from this book, mainly how deep and intelligent/interesting Sarah is. This is such a funny book but also extremely honest and insightful. You'll learn from this book about Sarahs childhood, family, life experiences, vegetarianism, how she got bullied, her amazing time in New York and her tv show. PS there is more including lots of black and white pictures and a colour picture section in the middle. I loved Sarah before this book and I love her more now. I thought that I would jew this book sorry I mean view this book as a piss take but its more serious, and how would have know that Sarah can actually write. A 5* rating for a 5* girls.
Cute like Sarah - I love the humor, but at times it felt very much like stand-up - the narrative jumps around a bit. I totally disagree that there are no male hygienists (there's one @ the Amherst Delta Dental). I am often questioned about my New England origins because I too lack the accent. (REALLY! Born in Maine, raised in NH, working in MA, only been to RI twice.)
