These books would really be better if Jackaby were the narrator. He is the only one with a personality I find compelling. It's not a good sing when you get to the climax with such a big bad monster to fight and all I was thinking was "Great, this will be over soon." Ill still keep going with the series but its not going to be a priority.

I finished this book in less than two days. It's a quick read. I love this book just as much as the first. It's Sherlock meets the supernatural and mythical. With in the story of this book there is a background story setting up for future books. Kittens, dragons, wild west feeling, archaeology, and some new interesting characters. This book is splendid and I eagerly await more books to come in this series.
