There's honestly so much I could say about this book. Even though it took me what felt like years to get into, it was just me just not paying attention to it fully but boy once you got into it, it was hard to put down.
Since reading this book I've read a couple other books written by Kathleen Glasgow and Liz Lawson (sepratly) and found not only did I thoroughly enjoy them. I now look through book shops and can recognise their names and record them to others.

I enjoyed this second book just as much as the first. These are a great combination of Nancy Drew meets Veronica Mars meets Agatha Christie. They are fun to read, the mystery keeps you guessing all along and the story keeps moving. I'm hopeful for a book #3!

To be honest the book wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be. Going back and fourth between the main characters was alright but was aggravating at times. I did enjoy the plot and mystery though.

After the first Agathas book, I was excited to see more of Castle Cove and all its mysteries. I wasn’t disappointed by the sequel, where we learn much more about Mona Moody and her mysterious death after a brutal attack on a peer during a school dance. I love Iris and Alice and the assortment of characters who help them as they investigate. I did feel like most of the twists in this one were predictable but it was still a fun story. Thank you so much to NetGalley and Random House Children’s for the eARC in return for an honest review!
