I cannot express enough how much better this book is than other Dostoevsky works I have read.
The characters, the development, the moments, the humour, the ending all of it is fantastic and I loved.
My only true issue with the book is the plot is relatively vague for a majority of the book and so it seems to feel like it's floating from time to time.
Everything else about this book is a masterpiece and the fact that it appears to be so under the radar for so many people is devastating as, and I cannot make this any clearer, it is far far far better than crime and punishment on everything outside of maybe the plot as admittedly C&P has a good book.
Dostoevsky had finally convinced me that he is worth the time.
