This was very slow and very boring. The writing is very well done, but the story is extremely lackluster. I’m basically only continuing this series at all because I hear the next few books are better…I really hope they are.

This book had an interesting concept but worked still.

I don't understand why it was part of the Bill Hodges trilogy after having read the whole trilogy. I think this story would have felt more complete as a stand alone novel.

Call it a 3.5.

I loved everything about this crime story except the returning characters. Weird right?

King remains the best at creating quirky one off characters and the time hopping introduction is great.
