I still want to read this, I'll just have to maybe find a different version.
This showed me that I cannot deal with the audio experience books. Which is sad because Jack Black has a really great reading voice.

I started reading this because I thought it would be funny and it was a little bit at first but then it was just kind of. Almost a Minecraft how-to guide in the form of a narrative? I'm not the target audience of this but it was a little bit interesting.

Great read! This book hit me hard and it made me want to keep on reading this book! It for some reason also gave me hachet vibes...

Na początku było nudne, dopiero pod koniec się rozkręciło.

My sister asked me to read this with her because it’s one of her favorites. Unfortunately I don’t think I’m the intended audience for this. I’ve never played Minecraft, so I didn’t really appreciate it fully.

I’m also not a huge fan of survivalist stories. The only person he had to talk to was himself.

Jack Black did a great job narrating though.

Wow, what a book!
This was the most astonishingly fu**ed-up book I've ever read. This is not even a novel, it's just a manual for Minecraft players who've never played with that game. If you follow this book, you'll learn how to play the game, but god for a novel? This was plain bad. The info-dumping was amateurish, the character was just lame, the world... while it works in the game, it DOES NOT in a book.
I really can't fathom why they couldn't write a story for Minecraft like the Telltale game. That was a good one, you got to know the world, how it worked, and still had a good story.
This one? This is nothing like that, and it breaks my heart. I wanted to like this so bad, I loved World War Z, but this? Shame on you, Max Brooks, I wouldn't even call this writing.
