Fast paced, creepy, with a slow build that reminded me of The Stand

It was creepy and unsettling and upsetting. I couldn't ask for more!

This really is a great combination of vintage and new King, amazing character exploration that does feel like a slow burn at times but that is only so it can get a firmer grasp on your heart before it wrenches it from your chest. Slowly builds to an epic ending. I really enjoyed it, but I can see how it's not for everyone.

This is probably going to be "controversial" but by far one of my favourite Stephen King books. Sure it is a slow drag in the beginning but the build up of suspense is wild! I am spoiling the events in my mind but I am being proven wrong each time! Stephen King, my favourite author, always provide unexpected twists and turns and this book does not lack that. I love it! I think the rating is not really giving it what it deserves. I have read this novel a few times and it still thrills me.
