Pacing + male character was a bit too brooding for my liking…brooding to the point if becoming cringe

So many people don’t like this, but honestly, I am a sucker for anything Hades and Persephone. This was some sort of guilty pleasure I couldn’t seem to get enough of. It was very sexy. I really liked the modernization of it. I don’t know.

I am normally uncomfortable with full-blown Erotica, which is why I don’t like that Disney series from that other author that is extremely popular. This is more romance and it’s tasteful. The sex-scenes are steamy and just right for me. People can hate on this all like, but this was enjoyable!

A loose, loose look at Persephone and Hades. Lots of smut, but not with all that weird talk

I have a lot of issues with continuity in this book but the biggest issue: how was Persephone able to text right after leaving Nevernight even though no phones were allowed in the club and they were specifically searched for phones; been thinking about that since chapter 2
