my first Greek mythological retelling, and o really enjoyed it! I know nothing about Greek mythology, but this book made it super easy to understand. I LOVED the storyline so much, but there were a few things that fell flat for me. There relationship seemed purely physical at times, which I don’t necessarily like. I am excited to continue on with this series!

This book does not have a crazy plot twist, it is impossible to put this book down because of how endearing the characters are.
It's a slow burn with enemies to lovers and he falls first what's there not to love.🫶🏻🥹

So good! I'm Addicted! I need more! I don't think anyone understands, this book got me crying, I felt anger, I felt Persephone's emotions and feelings, got me definitely falling in love with Hades! I would give this book 10000000/10000000!!!!

If you need to convince yourself on how Hades is the enemy, and how awful he is- despite him, acting the complete opposite, then sweetheart you have fallen hard for him- which I don't blame you since he is so fucking beautifully hot, smart, sarcastic, dark yet so pure and very, very, very, very handsome!!!

One of the thoughts I had while reading pp.143-144 - Persephone is being very unfair and clearly wrong about Hades, which is pissing me off. I understand she needs to find a reason to hate him, but seriously? Girl, bye.

It's absolutely adorable that Hades got annoyed at Persephone's lie about Minthe not bothering her, including how he WANTED to teach her a lesson for and may I quote - "To not leave when you are angry with me,"

Excellent smutty and mindless read. This story actually had potential but the writing, character development, use of language and plot development... Sigh. Oh well. Still fun.
