Word to the wise: Heavy on graphic sexual detail.
I loved this book! Was it flawless? No. Were the characters always likeable? No. But did I find myself caring about them (fairly quickly, I might add!) and rooting for them? Absolutely!
The world was intriguing and well-thought-out. You have to be in the mood for not just a romance but a very unique, modern retelling of Greek mythology, for sure (I'd actually started listening once and then set it aside because I wasn't in the mood.) I'm glad I didn't throw it away though, because when I picked it back up again I ended up swallowing it down in less than 3 days!! I couldn't get enough!
All around, it wasn't perfect, but it was truly just what I was looking for, and a joy to read!

they are such a cute couple!!! gosh I love them. such a cute and modern twist on the Hades x Persephone story- it didn’t seem to end on a cliffhanger though so i’m intrigued to see what the next books will be
