I honestly loved this.
The story wasn't as thrilling and anticipating as King of Batle and Blood, but it was comfy, and had it's ups and downs. Persephone was a bit blind to everything happening around her, but it was a part of the story and it worked well.
I loved the bonus content, it was cute and lovely.
The only thing I didn't really like is the New Athens thing. Like go all for modern Greece but it was too.. americanized? As a European, it just felt to me as New York, we have a bit different ways and mentality, and it made me question if it's like that in the rest of the world, or is it only Greece being a technological marvel with Gods just going around? I know it's probably not important to the story, it just made me confused a lot. Also I've never heard anyone call cabertnet "cab", and it confused me thinking she was ordering a taxi until it sank it she was ordering a drink, lol.
That is my only problem with this story though, it was lovely and a bit of a break from all the thrilling fantasy I've been reading lately. Gonna start Ruin now and I have already preordered Chaos.
