I read this book in one sitting. That says something about the book and my need for it.

A deeply moving, painfully intimate, stunningly honest little memoir. Lewis's observations on the process and cycle of grief are insightful and helpful to any who has experienced grief. His thoughts on the nature and blessing of marriage, and even of widowhood, are enlightening and deeply helpful. Don't save this book for when you are already mourning someone; for all the tears it brings, this little 90-page book is one best read and re-read.

[nonfiction, unrated] I read this based on a reddit recommendation after a high school friend died. This book is more relevant to someone whose partner has passed, but is still an interesting reflection on the different phases of grief you go through when someone close to you is gone.
