Okay this was unfortunately my least fav Lynn Painter book. The characters just lacked depth and personality, the plot was just all over the place and the million "break up's" and misunderstandings annoyed me. If they just communicated the book would be like one chapter.

A quick read. Brother’s best friend romance. Overall I liked the idea of the book better than the execution.

I found Olivia too messy and almost childish. She’s supposed to be 25, but it felt more like 16… which made it awkward at times. And unfortunately, Colin is kind of bland.

I usually like Lynn Painter's quirky characters, but I did not find Olivia sympathetic. She created her own drama by lying to get a job, and I found it difficult to connect with her after that.
