I read this version on my iPad. It was the final book of the Seven Sisters series. I enjoyed the whole series and had to wait about a year to read the last. The last one was very good. I would have rather read it soon after the other books and it would have been easier to remember things it referred to but still excellent.

WOW! What an ending to this story and series. This book and Pa Salt's story did NOT disappoint.

It's as adventurous as the girls' stories and there are so many whirlwinds and twists. Pa Salt and his girls will long live in my mind and I know that for years to come I will think of their story. I'm so grateful that my friend suggested I try this series and from the get-go, it's one long, beautiful adventure.

The way Pa Salt's story was written was absolutely brilliant because you have no idea that he was there all along, and you simply didn't notice it at all.

It's a story of love, loss, found family, and so much more that truly does touch your heart in all the spaces you didn't know you had to occupy in there.

I couldn't put it down because after reading the rest of the series I just really needed answers. 🤣 The whole saga is as far fetched as a story could possibly be but I really did enjoy it overall.

As with a few of the others in the series, this was at times slow and drawn out, but I kind of understand why that had to be now I've finished it and have the full story. Some previous plot points that felt unnecessary at the time of reading the relevant previous book, are now clear as the explanation is given in Atlas' story.

I'm glad I have read the series as it's been something a little but different for me, but I'm equally glad I can now move onto something else (ie the million other books on my Kindle and physical to read pile!)

Well that was AMAZING! So incredibly seamlessly pulled together!
Now I am once again heart broken that this time, there will not be a surprise new Lucinda Riley book to wrench at my heart strings ever again!

Well, it has been a while since a book has made me cry and this one at the end had me weeping.

We meet Pa Salt at the age of seven and he is living in hardship in Siberia. Something happens that he has to run away fearing for his life. We meet up with him in Paris and living with a renowned sculpture and his family. Pa has become mute as he is so afraid to speak in case he is discovered. Many things happen to him but he has to keep on running.
90 years later his daughters are all together to say goodbye but there are more surprises for them all. Can they all support each other as secrets are revealed?

This book gripped me from the first page and I found it hard to put down. It was a wonderful and emotional finish to a great series. I would recommend the whole series.
