Tarviin ehk aikaa sulatella.

I couldn't imagine how this series would end but compliments go to both authors for making this such an spell binding series.
. The final story of Pa Salt goes beyond anything I could have imagined. The fact the author Lucinda Riley's son, Harry Whittaker was able to weave such an amazing story from his mother's notes and tie up all of the loose ends is a credit to both of them. I could not put this book down. It was an amazing finale to this incredible series.

Wow! What a finale. It was such a shock to realise that Lucinda Riley had died before completing this amazing series of books. A tragic death from cancer. Full marks to her son Harry Whittaker for writing this book with what he knew and with what she had left.
You do hear two voices in the book doll where it sounds like Lucinda Riley’s voice and then a slightly softer voice initially telling some of the story.
And finally all the strands are brought together and the mysteries revealed. Yes of course it was obvious that Pa Salt was still alive but there were other conundrums I wouldn’t have guessed. Some of it felt ridiculously far-fetched and some a little trite, but this is the most compelling series of books I’ve ever read (well, perhaps the second most compelling) and reading it now I haven’t had to wait for the next one to be published.
Thank you to Claire for introducing me to them and to Kindle for enabling me to download and start reading in the middle of the North Sea - heading to Norway (hence I read the second book first!).
