Love Love Love it, its passionate sexy and keeps you rooting for Eva and Gideon, i went from laughing out loud to utter frustration with the characters the book really pulls the reader in and you feel like you are there Amazing xxxxx

Omg this was such an amazing book....I just read the Fifty series a few weeks ago and now this it just as good! I can't wait for book 2!!!

This one was a heart stopping read! The first on the this series is amazing and one of the reads you will fall in love with believe me you wont want to miss out! Each character has their own likes and dislikes and for me I really LIKED it all. The journey Gideon and Eva is HOT! After reading Fifty Shades of Grey I really have to say this was a fresh read and a well written book and it only lead into more of a breathtaking read! get ready to fall in love and be a little hot and bothered!

Well written, fantastic character development, incredible scenes that sizzle the air around the reader. Eva and Gideon are everything 50 Shades wishes they were!

I can't wait for the next installment.

“Eva, I…” His voice faded into silence. He was hard-faced and distant, his fists clenched at his sides.
I loosened the sash of my robe and shrugged the whole garment off me. “Look at me, Gideon. Look at my body. It’s the same one you couldn’t get enough of last night. The same one you were so desperate to get into that you took me to that damn hotel room. If you don’t want this anymore…if you don’t get hard looking at it—”
“Is this hard enough for you?” He broke the drawstring of his pants pushing them down to expose the heavy, thickly veined length of his erection.
We both lunged at the same time, colliding. Our mouths slid over each other as he lifted me to wrap my legs around his hips. He stumbled to the couch and fell, catching our combined weight with one outstretched hand.

summary of the book: superinstalust (she called him a sexgod when they first met) he wants to fuck her at 7% she says no but our alpha beta sigma man gets everything he wants, and he wants her so there's no such thing as a 'no' (yes, she wanted him too, but she did NOT want to act on it; and yes he's a rapist to me.) anyhow, once they start fucking it's the same bs again and again and AGAIN like I'm sure every chapter had a sex scene, when they weren't fighting, they were fucking over stupid things like
eva: i don't like your 'friend' she called me a whore.
gideon: but she's my friend!
eva:: why were you looking at her like 'that' in that picture
gideon: i was thinking about fucking you while talking to her and the photographer took a picture of me what can i do im so innocent

Ugh! Why!? What a fifty-rip off in the worst way. Gideon seems like such a dbag! Who the eff can take themselves seriously in a three piece suit? Gah.. This book made me really angry.

Their relationship is very sexually charged in this first book. They also have a lot of trust and self-esteem issues between the two of them. They fall into each other very quickly. Gideon is typically not the relationship guy but changed his tune super fast when he met Eva. They both have childhood trauma that they are learning about & trying to navigate. Very complicated dynamic.

No other notes: Gideon Cross is the standard.
