A million times better than 50 shades it's not trying to be something it isn't. Must stress may contain rape/attempted rape triggers and also family sexual abuse triggers too!
Why does the female have to have such a low opinion of herself? Gideon's character started off as this hot hunk that everyone wanted he has the domineering personality but then I feel like he loses that about halfway in the book, where he isn't domineering anymore, more like a lovesick teenager and tbh I didn't have any problem with it. He is extremely closed off, and has trust issues.
The last couple of chapters where Gideons ex fiancée turns up made the book a little more interesting, not much though. I hate other women dramas, and he had a platonic relationship( just friendship? with his ex which made heroine jelaous, and anyone would feel the same way.
They both were insecure, heroine was more insecure because everyone wanted the hero. There was so much angst.I'll definitely read all the books in this series because I can't just leave a book out, but I'll also read all the books in the series because I can't help but want the story line to get better.
I LOVED CARY WHO IS BESTFRIEND OF EVA. HE KEPT ME ENTERTAINED.

I tried really hard not to think anything Fifty-related while reading this and at some point I succeeded and saw Gideon. Oh mama! There's a lot of dark sh*t from his past messing with his head. Here's hoping that Eva get's him through all that.
