Love that JVN is sharing his raw truth with the world. It will help other people know they aren't alone. It is a bit of a hard read because he writes like he speaks, so it doesn't read very easy. I had to go back and re-read sentences numerous times to understand exactly what he was trying to say and decipher the witty comments. Definitely think everyone should read it because it has an important message!

I Stan JVN
I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy reading this or not, but I knew I have much to learn regarding LGBTQ+ struggles and their plight, and JVN provided a good introduction; I have much to learn. He does a great job sharing his story realistically in a way that is approachable and makes me want to learn more. I think I didn't realize that he is still considered "newly recovering," and it makes me think about how challenging it must be for him at times. Thanks for sharing!
I listened to the audible version which is entertaining since Jonoathon reads it and adds a lot of flare.
Covid 19 happened, so I didn't get to finish this right away, but I'm glad I did. Listening to Jonathan's story was inspiring and it was really enjoyable to listen to it on audiobook.
