 Antes de empezar el libro leí en la contra un comentario del escritor de cómo había surgido la idea del libro. Y es un buen resumen pero creo que casi mejor ir sin saber nada sobre el libro. Tiene un punto de humor negro muy bueno, tratando un tema importante cómo lo hace. Es una rebelión con espacio para el humor. Hay además detectives y un caso y muchos tópicos.

Cómo habían comentado en la Llama Store (es de dónde viene la recomendación, de la subscripción de su libro al mes) al no saber si un nombre es más tópico para un grupo de personas u otras igual perdemos contexto, pero el fondo del libro es imposible que se te pase por alto.

thanks, Aidan, for insisting I read this.  I LOVED the dark humour and the completely weird story, but confess I'm not sure I completely GET IT.  I totally understand the "why", but am a bit confounded by the "how" of this story.  (Although I feel this is a "me" problem", it is why I haven't given the book a perfect score. ) As a commentary on racism, it is perfect.  I'm now looking for the right mature students to share this with, and am sure my English Lit teacher friends will also enjoy it.
