Head back to Thistle Grove, with the most unlikely of duos of dark and light magic….

I love the Thistle Grove series very much and find Lana Harper’s books to be a cozy and easy read perfect for the fall. This wasn’t my favorite compared to Payback’s a Witch. But still cozy and enjoyable.
Thoroughly enjoyable. I am always a fan of enemies-to-lovers, esp when the conflict isn’t abusive. Visiting Thistle Grove is always a pleasure and while this one wasn’t quite as strong for me as book 1, but it’s also gonna be nearly impossible to measure up to “a group of women band together to take down their mutual and shitty ex.” There was also a paragraph in about the middle of the book where I thought “ding! That’s the setup for book 3!” I’m excited to see if I’m right.
Quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. Fantastic world she’s created, lovely and mysterious and witchy in all the right ways. Easy to imagine these are real people in a real community. Love these stories. Highly recommend reading the first book in the series before this one.

Not my favorite. I had no attachment to the main characters and it wasn’t as witchy and spooky as I’d want. The ending made it better. Also the narrator was much better than the first one!

Another cute but sexy? witchy story. I like how they focused on different family members within the community so it’s new and interesting but still familiar from the first book

A great second visit to thistle Grove. Love the characters chosen to focus on and the development of the magic system and lore of Thistle Grove. Issa and Rowan are enemies to lovers, angst to comfort and it's oh so sweet. The book also focuses on themes of family duty which are done really well, so are the books representation of panic attacks. Great fun read.
