A fun, atmospheric read. Pretty much follows the same formula as the first only with an interesting “who done it” mystery.

I'm in love with Thistle Grove. Can I move there?
Enemies to lovers is always a good romance plot, and that stands true for those story as well. I adored how both Issa and Rowan learned things about the other that helped them get over their preconceived notions. I also loved the mystery aspect of the book (I did figure it out before the characters did though). Issa has such fun humor. I also liked seeing Emmy continue in her Victor role from the first book. I just really liked this book.

This is a cute continuation of the Thistle Grove witches. Initially I was a little disappointed because I was looking for my next spooky season read and this doesn’t take place in the fall like its predecessor. However the spooky vibes are fulfilled thoughout this tale. With a plot focusing on a who-dunnit case and notes of “what am I doing with my life angst” and an enemies to lovers romance. I continued to enjoy the diverse characters in Lana Harper’s work. It was a refreshing change of pace. Spice was minimal, however well done. I thought it was really cool to see different facets of their religion outside of the Halloween season. The author has great, fun easy to follow stream of consciousness type of writing that I find very easy to read and get sucked into.
