Damn, this one hit me in the girly spot. Rowan’s kinda hot, goddamn. Overall I think this book showcases the strengths and weaknesses of Lana Harper’s writing more than Payback’s A Witch.
There are some cartoonishly awful moments in this book, but as a whole it really landed with me. In fact I would go so far as to say that I enjoyed it more than the first of the series! Isa and Rowan are more dynamic and engaging as a potential couple than Emmy and Talia, and there are some really fun moments shared between the two of them! But the tension and drama is poorly handled for sure.

M/F romance isnt my thing so i read for the plot. I truly like Rowan he’s a great guy and I love Isidora.
The plot was interesting but also kind of slow and predictable to me. But i still very enjoyed it!
