One of the most hilarious and awesome books I have ever read. Sohpie Kinsella is an amazing writer.
the speaker was slightly annoying, made lots of bad choices, and overall was not really likeable. but it was a readable. i won't be reading the next book in the series. but it wasn't a total waste of time.

I recently watched the movie for the first time and loved it. It was a rare case, in my opinion, of the movie being better than the book.
I did have fun reading the book, for the most part. I felt like I should be annoyed by the main character, but I actually really liked her. She makes the most ridiculous decisions for the most ridiculous reasons and yet I found her endearing.
The main reason I feel the movie is better is because they nail the character arc and the book bombs it. It wasn't as good in the book as the movie but it was okay ... Until the very end. I couldn't believe the ending. She makes the same mistakes and hasn't changed at all?? I loved the way the book drove home her change and was so disappointed with how the book handled it. If I had read the book first, I probably wouldn't have watched the movie.

Love Becky and a great start to this series. So funny and I'm ashamed I see myself in her. LOL
While a lot of this book wasn't very probable, I still enjoyed it. It was a fluff read, but easy. The characters were likable, especially the lead character of Rebecca!
