3.5 AVERAGE

So many reviews have already been written about this book that I couldn't possibly add much more. I did enjoy the book and found myself laughing and smiling more than once. I felt so bad for poor Becky at times but also cringed at her apparent density. I like that by the end of the novel, she grew as a character and realized that she needed to be an adult. I liked her much more by the end than I did at the beginning.

3.5 stars. This was cute!! I loved listening to it on audiobook!!

Would appeal to a wide audience but I think it was the content/story line that was the downfall for me. Very one dimensional.

This was a light book full of laugh out loud moments.

Up until the last 20 pages, I really
hated this book. I did not like the web
of lies that Rebecca kept threading. Although
I may continue the series out of curiosity, and
because one of my favorite blogers on book tube
really enjoys the series. So we'll see how it goes.

The longer the book went on the less and less I liked it. Becky Bloomwood made me laugh a lot but the majority of her inner dialogue disgusted me primarily. When she compared eating out for the first time one ONE WEEK to a child being able to eat regular food again after a country has stopped rationing food during war! UGH, It just seems a little too far fetched that someone would go to these lengths to keep their debt a secret. She lied when there was no need to and probably made her self look even more guilty. I do not know how so many characters were so convinced by her act. I didn't hate the book it was a nice easy read and like I said I laughed a lot but I the majority of the time I did not like Rebecca Bloomwood.

Hint: If you loved the movie and you are hoping the plot goes exactly the same it doesn't! Not even close!

I realllllly liked this whole series. It was funny, no hilarious. SHe went through some hard times but her whole life fell in place. When i finished it it was as though there should b more books in the series. and watch more of her hilarious life.

Such a fun book!

This book freaked me out. Big time. The book induced minor anxiety attacks and nightmares.

If you have anxieties about money or the way you handle money, this may not be the book for you.

Which sucks, because I WANTED to like it. I wanted it to be fun and escapist. And instead it just left me overwhelmed by reality (and no, I am neither a shopaholic nor particularly bad with my finances).

My personal issues aside, for the right person I think it could be a fun book. I'm just not that person.
