Tuesdays with Morrie is a memoir that recounts the real-life relationship between the author, Mitch Albom, and his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz. Years after losing touch, Mitch reconnects with Morrie upon learning that he is dying from ALS. The two begin meeting every Tuesday, where they engage in heartfelt conversations about life, love, work, aging, and death. These weekly visits become life lessons, as Morrie shares his wisdom and reflections in the face of a terminal illness, offering a powerful perspective on what truly matters.

I give this book 4 stars. It’s an easy, fast read that doesn’t require too much unpacking, yet still manages to leave an impression. I appreciated the simplicity of the writing and the warmth of the characters, especially Morrie, whose positive attitude and deep relationships stood out despite his devastating diagnosis. While I think the book could have explored some of the themes more deeply, it still effectively conveys its central message about living with purpose and connection. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, thoughtful, and heartfelt read.

This book was so impactful! I loved reading about Morri and how he was able to look at life through rose colored lenses, despite the disease he was facing. Morri gave some great life advice, and I tabbed many pages through the book. A favorite quote of mine: "The truth is, once you learn how to die, you learn how to live."

It was the last class of his life, and Mitchwas his only student. Everyone should read this book at least once in their life!
