I LOVE THIS SM!! i eat up literally everything jessica joyce writes and this was no different oh my god i fell in love with this novella so fast!! from connor and claire’s meet cute to their weekend to then meeting in sf at the end i loved all of it sm!!! their banter was so fun and them dancing at their own nye party was so you are in love coded (her mentioning that the weekend felt like a snow globe AHHH) but the noelle and theo mentions (ESPECIALLY theo, the part at the end where connor and claire say they love theo spencer ACTUALLY ME!!) were my favorite ahhh jessica joyce’s books are everything <333

I meant to finish this NYE but alas sleep prevailed. This was a sweet Novelette. Very predictable but an easy and quick read. A perfect little read for the mysterious week between Christmas and New Year. It’s got some steamy parts, funny banter, and a happy ending.
What a fun novella! I would read a full length book of this! Even though it was short it felt so deep and personal right off the bat! I loved the chemistry and man Jessica has a way with describing things that really hits me!
I’m conflicted about this one - novellas are tricky and often leave me wanting more so they may not be for me. The characters are really great and I love the sweet romance, and a lot of the limited pages are dedicated to their one-night(ish) hookup.
