All I can say is... I wish I had Mitch Rapp as a friend. I really enjoy the more focus on not work stuff and showing that he still is a normal guy besides hunting and killing terrorists for a living. Always a good read from this series.

So far it's just awful. I read portions out loud to my husband and had him holding his ears as if in pain, and me with tears of laughter rolling down my face--the writing is so cliched and pounds you over the head telling you what each character is like, again and again. To be sure, each is either wholly good or bad.
But I keep reading. That says something-- probably more about me than the book.

I just have to say, that I can't believe I didn't find these books sooner. Vince Flynn's novels, (at least the first three I've read) are all amazing, and I can't wait to dive into the next one. :)
A great thriller with a political back ground. Very enjoyable. A fun and easy read. Don't start unless you have the time to get to the end.
This book follows up immediately after the last one--I shouldn't have waited several months to read it! I liked that it was such a close continuation of the previous Rapp book. I am curious now if the next book will pick right up where this one ended. We'll see how many months it takes me this time to read the next one since I already have half a dozen books lined up waiting "at my bedside."
So, was this the first book he wrote? Confused by the order of the books, and the lack of Rapp but good to see all the other regulars in a different guise.
