Love it when Rapp gets the bad guys. But Mike Nash... too annoying. I hope Flynn gets rid of him somehow. Whiners don't belong in the business.
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Just like all the other Vince Flynn books I've read, I loved it. The stories are so engaging - I have to think and pay attention to the details so that I don't miss something important, and I have a hard time putting the book down. And yet, the detail and the writing isn't overwhelming. I always enjoy reading Vince Flynn books.

Gripping from the start, while also being quite thought-provoking, Term Limits was an excellent read, and exposed many issues in this country, which are not only unresolved, but in many ways have worsened. Whether you lean towards the right or left, most people will agree that the majority of politicians (especially those in higher positions) are basically full of hot air, while catering to monetary or other special interests. While the methods used by the characters in the book to enact change seem harsh, all one needs to consider to put this in some degree of perspective is what this country went through to establish freedom and independence from the British monarchy. Whether such methods could work today are obviously questionable, but it certainly makes one ponder how we arrived in our current situation, and what can be done to restablish our fore-fathers high ideals. Excellent character development and pacing - highly recommended.

Wow

I've only ever read the thriller Novels of Tom Clancy and Jack Carr. This was my first Flynn novel. It was amazing and I love all the details.

Loved this book! Couldn't put it down. When I was finally finished with it, I had to go pick up the next two!

Very good read of the crafty Rapp, who figures his way through buracracy and government red tape as he catches the bad guys. I very entertaining read.

It's been years since I have read a Vince Flynn novel. I decided to try it out again. And, I do not like Mitch Rapp anymore. His solution to every conflict, every disagreement, is to simply threaten to kill the person or actually kill him. Including his best friend, Mike Nash and the Inspector General of the CIA, to name just a few. Rapp is a loose cannon that is portrayed as some glorified American hero. He's not. He's a cold-blooded killer that should be locked up in the brig. Now, I digress. My politics have changed and my worldview has changed since the days I used to read this garbage. Flynn's novels are full of right-wing, anti-liberal, anti-muslim, and anti-establishment rhetoric. I simply cannot stomach the rhetoric anymore. So, I say a final goodbye to Flynn and Rapp. It was enjoyable at a time when I was like you, but thank goodness, I'm not anymore. Adios.

4 1/2 stars. One of my favourite series

20 year old political thriller that has aged well. I wish Vince Flynn was alive to talk about this book and how it would be viewed after the past few years political landscape.
