Deep Dark Fears

Deep Dark Fears showcases the irrational, sweet, scary fears of every day people through cartoons. The endearing art makes this somewhat macabre subject palatable and will undoubtedly bring about some great conversation.

I loved this book. So many of the fears were relatable and I loved the art!

Anyone with truly random anxieties or overly imaginative childhoods will find comfort in this book, that proves you are not alone in your fearful weirdness.

Some of these were pretty funny and I found myself nodding at them. Others were just eh. I enjoyed reading this.

3,5 más bien. Qué miedos tan originales tienen algunas personas. Espero no acordarme de ellos en el futuro

Wonderful and clever illustrations. The little doodles in the corner of the pages occasionally really show how much he loves the craft.

I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A quirky collection of comics that shows you that other people share your weird phobias. The drawings are cute, and the fears are a range of funny to profound to omg-I-never-should-have-read-that-because-now-I-will-never-stop-thinking-about-it (but maybe that last one is just me). A quick read for people who enjoy dark/morbid comic collections (yeah, that's a sub-genre).
