This just wasn't for me, but my rating is more about personal preference. I like a good Rejected Mate story, but with this one, I didn't like that the majority of this book, one of the pack members was actively pining for a former partner who had been given the same status as the FMC and was horrible to her. Issues like that don't resolve this easily and it felt disingenuous.

I was looking forward to reading this due to all the love it got online. I wasn't bad but I did go in thinking there would be a great grovel and hard one love. It wasn't that at all. The h is strong and Harper Lennox knows how to keep you interested. It was good but it just wasn't what I really thought it could be given the story line

No. Just no. Evie keeps this from being a 1 star because she was a delight. But, the Alphas - absolutely not. They were trash - all of them - and there was NO groveling. NOTHING irritates me more than when a pack treats an omega inhumanly and then **boom** a heat happens and all is well. They did not deserve her at all. In addition to there being no groveling, there was simply no relationship development. They treated her so poorly that it threatened her life. She had a heat - sort of. The end.
I was so disappointed because this story had potential.
